Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What makes your approach different?
A: I teach voice skills for life, not quick hacks. My approach is practical, respectful, and proven — combining voice training, breathing, and personal communication so you sound the way you want to, consistently and confidently.
The sooner you start, the faster you’ll build habits before they get harder to change.
Q: I’m worried about my age — can I still change my voice?
A: Absolutely. Age is never a barrier. I’ve helped clients in their 50s, 60s, and beyond. You’re never too old to build a voice that feels right and true.
Q: What if I’m shy or embarrassed?
A: That’s perfectly okay. Many people feel nervous in the beginning. There is no judgment here. We go at your pace, in a supportive environment where you can safely experiment, practice, and grow.
Q: Will I have to do this alone?
A: Nope. I’ll guide you every step of the way. You’ll have a clear path, feedback you can trust, and a coach who has your back. You’re never left guessing.
Q: How private is this?
A: Extremely private. All coaching is confidential and can be done securely online, so you can learn and practice in your own space without worry.
Q: How do I get started?
A: Just reach out to me at donnaflynn@vocalcoach.ca or at 416-436-8063. Feel free to tell me what you are thinking and ask any questions you have. You can also book a one-on-one lesson if you’d like to dive right in. No pressure, no obligation.
Q: What if I can’t do everything?
A: You don’t have to. We build your training around what matters most to you, with no pressure to cover it all at once. You set the pace, and I help you stay on track.
Q: Does it take forever to see results?
A: No — you can start hearing and feeling changes within weeks if you practice regularly. We break everything into small, manageable steps so you stay motivated and see progress.
