ABOUT DONNA
Stop guessing. Start sounding like you.
You deserve a voice that reflects your true self without physical strain or a "performed" sound. I’m Donna Flynn, and I help transgender individuals achieve vocal feminization or masculinization through a rigorous, evidence-based approach.
While many focus solely on pitch, I look at the whole system. My background in Respiratory Physiology and Breathing Science means we don't just "change" your sound—we rebuild your voice from the lungs up. The result is a voice that is sustainable, healthy, and authentically yours.
With over 20 years of experience and certifications from leading voice clinics across North America—including the University of British Columbia and the University of Pittsburgh—I bridge the gap between clinical science and personal identity. I utilize Motivational Interviewing to help you navigate the mental hurdles of transition, ensuring the work we do in our sessions translates into your everyday life.
The Differentiators: Why This Method Works
Whole-Body Mechanics: Unlike standard coaching, I incorporate breathing re-education (Oxygen Advantage/Buteyko) to ensure your new voice is effortless to maintain and physically safe.
Sustainable Change: Using Motivational Interviewing, I help you overcome the "mental blocks" of voice transition so your progress sticks in real-world situations, not just in practice.
Clinical Foundation: My training at world-class institutions ensures you receive evidence-based techniques—removing the guesswork and frustration of "DIY" training.
You provide the courage; I provide the roadmap. Reach out today to start the conversation about your vocal goals.
